Streszczenie
W 2008 roku, podczas wykopalisk ratowniczych w Willi Tezeusza w Pafos, odkryto niekompletny pierścień kościany z oczkiem dekorowanym portretem, na którym ukazane jest popiersie królowej z dynastii Ptolemeuszy. Zabytek należy do serii podobnych pierścieni, znajdowanych zarówno w Aleksandrii, jak i na Cyprze. Chociaż królowe przedstawione na innych pierścieniach, Arsinoe II lub Berenice II, żyły w III wieku p.n.e., profil na naszym egzemplarzu bardzo przypomina portret Kleopatry VII. Artefakt można zatem datować, z dużym prawdopodobieństwem, na późny okres hellenistyczny.
