Streszczenie
Artykuł oferuje publikację ośmiu inskrypcji na ceramice odkrytych podczas prac archeologicznych przeprowadzonych przez Polsko-Egipską Misję w Tell Atrib (starożytne Athribis) pomiędzy 1985 a 1995 rokiem. Inskrypcje są bądź rzeźbione (graffiti) lub też malowane (dipinti), a ich zasięg czasowy obejmuje III w. p.n.e. do V/VI w. n.e. Wśród inskrypcji jedna zaświadczona jest na przedmiocie (prawdopodobnie ciężarku lub narzędziu do wygładzania powierzchni naczynia) i wskazuje jego właściciela. Pozostałe teksty są graffiti lub dipinti zachowanymi na naczyniach ceramicznych. Podają one różne informacje o producentach naczyń, pojemności naczyń, ich zawartości (wino, olej, ryby), jak również nadawców i odbiorców. Inskrypcje zaświadczają żywotność kontaktów handlowych Athribis, które obejmowały cały basen Morza Śródziemnego, włączając Afrykę Północną, Półwysep Iberyjski, Włochy, rejon egejski oraz obszar cypryjsko-cylicki.
