Abstract
Bone ring with bezel bearing a portrait bust of one of the Ptolemaic queens was found during 2008 salvage excavations in the Villa of Theseus in Paphos. It belongs to a series of similar rings, found both in Alexandria and in Cyprus. Although the queens depicted in other cases, Arsinoe II or Berenice II lived in Third century BC, the profile on our ring reminds very much that of Cleopatra VII. The artifact should be then, very possibly, late Hellenistic.
